Property Management

Store Norske owns the land in large parts of the Longyearbyen planning area. The company’s property management department should be contacted for all matters related to:

• Development of areas for which ground leases have not been granted
• Division of plots
• Adjustment of plot boundary lines
• Long lease/lease agreement in respect of vacant plots/areas
• Consent for transfer of land lease in sale of dwelling, boathouse, commercial building, etc.
• Sale, lease or mortgaging of the company’s property to non-Norwegian nationals or companies with boards of directors or basic capital fully or partly of non-Norwegian origin, which requires the consent of the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry
• Requirements for storage of containers
• Notification of abandoned vehicles and other objects (refuse/scrap) on Store Norske’s property.
